I am admitted to the state bars of Alabama and California. I have been designated a specialist in Estate Planning by the Alabama State Bar and a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the California State Bar. I hold a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, a Masters of Science in Taxation form Georgia State University, and a J. D. from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. I am currently pursuing a LLM in taxation at the Univeristy of Alabama School of Law. My practice is limited to trusts and estates; asset protection planning; and government benefit planning. I advise clients on family wealth accumulation and protection strategies that emphasize protection of assets from creditors, predators, and taxation. I reside with my wife, Cindy, in Anniston, Alabama. We have one daughter who resides in Vestavia with our grandson and three daughters who are either in school or just establishing their careers in Boston, San Francisco, and Sacramento.
